Rayim Clay ist das Projekt von Rahim Erbil. Der Vorname kommt aus der Familie: So hat seine Mutter den Namen Rahim ausgesprochen. Clay, auf Deutsch Lehm, steht für den verletzlichen Teil, der unter der Oberfläche warm bleibt.

Rahim schreibt und komponiert seine Songs selbst, seine Werke sind bei der GEMA registriert. 2024 veröffentlichte er unter dem Namen Chromyze das Album 2000 Floor mit zehn Tracks. Auf Spotify steht dieser Katalog noch unter Chromyze, auf Apple Music unter NIIO.

Als Rayim Clay erzählt er seine Musik in drei Kapiteln. Das Konzept heißt Chrom und Lehm: eine harte, spiegelnde Hülle und darunter etwas Weiches, das geschützt werden will. Die erste EP, The Pour, hat fünf Songs: Better Late Than Never, Rollercoaster, Vroom Vroom, Wipe It und Santa Monica. Danach folgen The Fracture und The Alloy. Die Masterrechte liegen beim Künstler.

Rayim Clay is the project of Rahim Erbil. The first name comes from home: it is how his mother pronounced Rahim. Clay stands for the vulnerable part that stays warm beneath the surface.

Rahim writes and composes his own songs, and his works are registered with GEMA. In 2024 he released the ten-track album 2000 Floor under the name Chromyze. On Spotify this catalogue is still listed as Chromyze, on Apple Music as NIIO.

As Rayim Clay he tells his music in three chapters. The concept is called Chrome and Clay: a hard, mirrored shell with something soft underneath that needs protecting.
